Allison Asman, PT, DPT
Allison is a South Florida native who earned her bachelor's degree in Integrative Health Sciences and a minor in Sports Business from Stetson University. While at Stetson University, she played Division 1 basketball for the Hatters. Due to a unique career ending injury, Allison's passion for physical therapy grew and she went on to earn her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences.
Allison’s passion is working with all athletes but has a special interest in adolescent athletics. She has worked with professional and top high school athletes from around the world at IMG Academy in Florida. She enjoys treating a wide variety of orthopedic injuries and getting patients back to doing what they love: whether that is high level athletics or walking the dog.
Allison believes in a multi-faceted approach to rehabilitation involving manual therapy, functional movement and exercise. She also places an importance on building trust and good relationships with her patients. By being friendly and receptive to questions, Allison ensures patients complete their treatment plans quickly and efficiently.
In her free time Allison enjoys backpacking, hiking, working out, being in the outdoors and spending time with her dog, cat and fiancé.
