Medial collateral ligament injuries are among the most common ligamentous knee injuries and frequently occur in both contact and noncontact settings. Primary MCL repair with augmentation has emerged as a contemporary surgical technique aimed at restoring mechanical valgus stability while promoting biological healing of the MCL injury.
