Cartilage—the flexible connective tissue between your joints—is the holy grail of orthopedics. It’s a big part of what keeps your joints moving and working.

When you injure your knee, hip, or shoulder—or when disease takes hold of those areas—it can be difficult to go about your day-to-day routine, let alone more rigorous exercise. And if left untreated, it can lead to more serious problems down the road.

We want you to be able to run, walk, bike, ski, and just go about your life for as long as you’d like. That’s why we’ve developed a comprehensive cartilage program with the full range of contemporary options for the treatment of cartilage disorders.

Why Choose Us?

We are the only comprehensive center between Chicago and California. And with Colorado’s active population, we sure need it.

Our physicians have more than 25 years combined experience and see hundreds of patients each year. Complex injuries aren’t rare—they’re the norm. That high volume means more experience and expertise.

And because we’re associated with an academic medical center, research is also a big part of what drives our program. With access to industry-sponsored studies and advanced imaging technology, you get the most cutting-edge care available anywhere.
