Kelli Cowen, PT, DPT, OCS, FAAOMPT

Dr. Kelli Cowen has been an outpatient orthopedic physical therapist for nearly 10 years, specializing in orthopaedics and lower extremity amputees including rehabilitation following osseointegration. She enjoys treating all orthopaedic diagnoses, particularly foot and ankle conditions. Kelli graduated from the University of Missouri with her DPT in 2016 and then completed an orthopaedic residency at the University of Illinois at Chicago in 2017, becoming a board-certified orthopaedic clinical specialist in 2018. Most recently, she completed a fellowship in orthopaedic manual physical therapy through Regis University in April 2024, becoming a fellow with the American Academy of Orthopaedic Manual Physical Therapists. Kelli is proud to be a clinical faculty member with CU Sports Medicine and Performance Center’s Orthopaedic Residency Program. She is also an associated faculty member in the University of Colorado Physical Therapy Program and an affiliate faculty member with Regis University’s Physical Therapy Program. In her free time, Kelli enjoys spending time with her husband Jared, golden retriever Thor, and tiny black cat Zola. She is an avid Mizzou and Minnesota Vikings fan. She also loves hanging out with friends and family, traveling, and staying active with all things Peloton.
