Nancy Lennarson, MS, RN, ACNP
Nancy graduated from the University of Iowa in 1995 with her BSN and worked as an intensive care nurse in the neurosurgical, cardiovascular and surgical cardiovascular, medical, and general surgical ICUs. She then graduated from Wright State University in 2003 with her Master's of Science and was certified as an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner. Her focus was both cardiovascular and neurosurgical care. While her husband was serving in the Air Force and building his career, he was deployed to Iraq. At that time, she made the decision to stay home and raise their 5 boys. In 2023, she completed a post-Master's certification from Graceland University and is now certified as an Adult -Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner. Being born and raised in a military family, having a husband in the Air Force, and now sons serving in the military, she cannot help but to also have a heart for service to others. Her way of serving others is through providing the best possible care to every patient she meets. She has to credit her mom in teaching her the art of nursing and caring for others. She looked beyond the textbooks and displayed an art in true care for the entire patient while utilizing the knowledge gained in nursing school. That is what Nancy always strives to do when caring for others.
