Tey Mirzoyev, PT, DPT, OCS

Teymur was born in Baku, Azerbaijan and grew up in Brooklyn, New York where he completed his undergraduate degree in CUNY Hunter College earning a Bachelors of Science degree in Psychology. He then completed his graduate studies at Long Island University earning his Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2014. He has been a practicing physical therapist for over 9 years. He specializes in the examination and treatment of orthopedic and sports related pathologies. He is a board certified orthopedic clinical specialist from the American Physical Therapy Specialization Council and has received his Dry Needling Level 1 certification.
After three years of working in New York he moved to Colorado in 2017 where he married his wife who is also a practicing physical therapist. Teymur practices what he preaches in the clinic - he enjoys weight training, running, and hiking. Recovery after multiple knee surgeries has allowed Teymur to specialize in post-surgical lower extremity rehabilitation. For him the greatest joy of being a physical therapist are moments when his patients are able to resume their previous level of performance after having to rebuild their physical strength and mental resilience as well.
