Nick Chabon, LAT, ATC, CSCS

Nick has been a Certified Athletic Trainer since 2016, and a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist since 2012. Nick was born and raised here in Boulder, CO and attended Monarch High School. He started working as an ATC at Montana State University Northern in Havre, MT where he instructed undergraduate courses and provided medical services for the Football and Basketball teams. In 2017 he became the Head Athletic Trainer for the Wichita Thunder of the East Coast Hockey League which is the farm team for the Edmonton Oilers. He most recently worked at Fort Lewis College in Durango, CO where he served as the Strength and Conditioning Coordinator and also provided medical services for the Football and Cross Country programs. Nick moved away from home when he was 16 to play junior ice hockey for the Helena Bighorns of the Northern Pacific Hockey League in Helena, MT and went on to play for Colorado State University. During his time at Colorado State he was the Head Coach for the Fort Collins High School Varsity Hockey team and the U16 hockey team at Northern Colorado Youth Hockey Association. Nick was also a referee in the USA Ice Hockey Officiating Development Program and worked in the North American Hockey League. He spends his free time playing and officiating ice hockey, cycling, skiing, rafting, kayaking and playing racquetball.
